The Temple

Why do we have to take care of our bodies? Why can't we go on without food for days without feeling weak? It's the way God created us. He wants us to take good care of our bodies. You may ask, "Why?"(I know i have before) Well, God cares so much about us and wants us to take care of our selves, because we are His creation, His proof of His wonderful works. In 1st Corinthians it says that the body(us) is God's temple. This may sound weird because we are the ones that actually need to worship Him. After all, God is all-powerful and He is the only one that is completely righteous. But, as i said before, we are God's creation. We are His way of telling people about Him and His glories. He wants us to keep our bodies healthy because He cares for us, and He wants us to spread His word around to other people.

Please make sure to stay healthy and praise God for all that He's done in your life. Have a great week!

Why did God give us free will?

I have recently converted my blog from talking about games and stats of players, to a blog that will talk about God and His blessings.

My first series will be on the free will that God has given all of us. Why did he give us free will? If God wanted us to follow Him, why did He give us a choice?  Well, He gave us a choice -or free will- because He cares about us and He wants us to be able to make the right decisions on our own. That doesn't mean that He just leaves you alone in a predicament. God is with you always. He doesn't make every decision for you but He will guide you through them. God wants everyone to follow Him, and go to Heaven, too. Some people wont, though, because He gave everyone free will.

I hope you make good decisions in your life. Have a great week everyone!

Analyzing the Pacers last game

I was very surprised to see the Pacers come out in this game and win by 20 points. All the players played great. Danny Granger scored 23 points, and was perfect from the Free Throw line. In fact all of the starters were perfect from the Free Throw line( Jeff Foster didn't shoot any, though ). Foster and Granger got a total of 18 rebounds that proved useful in the game. Overall it was a nice, 105-85, win over the Miami Heat.

Analyzing the Pacers last game

The Indiana Pacers went into this game coming off of a two game winning streak. They were( and still are )trying to make a play-off push. They started off great in the first half, by scoring 66 points against the Timberwolves's 49 first half points. Danny Granger had 32 points, and Mike Dunleavy had 25. Those two lead the team in scoring. 6 other players scored, including 3 bench players and 3 other starters. They all played well and did their part for the team in the 124-113 win over Minnesota.  This win made the Pacers win streak extend to 3 games.

Analyzing Purdue's last game(Tourney)

Purdue went into the Big Ten Tourney as a 2 seed, and feeling very confident. They played The University of Illinois Friday night in the Tournament. Both teams came out strong and kept the game close. For example, at the end of the first half it was 28-28, then at the end of regulation it was 63-63. Once again E'Twaun Moore lead the Boilers in total points, and allot of the other players scored too. This time, though, it wasn't enough. They lost to the illini 74-67 in overtime, and dropped out of the Big Ten Tourney. This isn't the end, though. They still have the NCAA Tournament ahead of them.
